Oh Shoot, It's Halloween!

Remember how last year you promised yourself you'd get a Halloween costume the moment they came out? I sure do.. Well long story short, It's October 31st and I still got nothing! If you're in the same boat, I decided to give some of you ladies a couple of ideas that you can put together in a matter of hours since that is all you got!

Disney Princesses were lame costumes until I saw what these ladies decided to put together and create their own version of the lovely Disney Princesses. Can be easily put together by what is in your closet, or even better.. You can take the last few hours before it hits Halloween time and go on a shopping spree for your own version of the Disney Princesses, and well, buy something you'll be able to wear any time throughout the year!

Now my favorite part of this Cat Woman costume is the fact that I have every part of it is hidden somewhere inside my closet! & this goes out to all the rocker chicks at heart, because if you don't own leather Jeggings in your closet by now... It's about time you get some!

Uh-Oh Holiday Season is Here

Ever since I was a little kid, the Holiday Season was the most wonderful time of the year! Unlike most kids who love the Holiday Season because of presents and days off from school, I loved it because I could dress up in the nicest outfits, and wear my hair like the "grown ups" did! And so, I had to make a special blog post on Holiday Season fashion. I will actually be dedicating one blog post a week for the Holiday Season. Now, when I say "Holiday Season", I most certainly include Halloween and Thanksgiving to the mix!
(The picture shown up top)
For quite some time I have been obsessing over MAC's Sheen Supreme lipsticks! And nothing says "CENTER OF ATTENTION" like a light bright pink. Not only is it considered make-up, it is also a must have accessory! Now occasionally you'll hear someone say; "Oh I don't like lipstick" (I would know because my best friend Deborah says that to me every single day), but tis the season to kick it up a notch and give your lips some life!
Now for the eyes, I kept it simple and easy (for I am not a make-up artist and would pretty much look like a clown if I tried to make things complicated.) All I did for the eyes, was use Lancôme's Pink Pearls as the Matte, Drama for the shimmer, added a little of the Pink Zinc to add some life to the eye, and Successorize as the finishing Matte to make my eyes really pop.

Now, for the finishing touch I threw on some Sephora Peach Fusion blush to highlight my cheek bones, and VOILA, the makeup was done!

(Next Blog Post will be on the Outfit)

Look do Dia / Look of the Day

This look is great for a day out on the town! With the addition of this warm off-white sweater, the wind will no longer remain a problem! The faux leather jacket gave a finishing touch, making the look chique and NOT boring!

Essa look eh otima para um dia na cidade! A sueter branca ajuda muito en dias frios. Finalmente, a jaqueta de couro sintetico deixa o look menos serio e mais divertido! E claro, fica sempre SuperBonita.

Fashion's Finest

Light colors, bold prints and unforgettable fabrics tend to be a part of an unforgettable experience called Fashion Week. The event every fashion lover awaits for kicked off in New York for its annual Spring/Summer Fashion Week. Ralph Lauren among with many other American designers set the mood for the worldwide Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Week. Followed by Willow, whom showed off her part rock-chick/Goth styling in a very modern way, with the addition of interesting heels, and vibrant, yet natural make up. Fashion Week continued in Milan, where Fendi, a personal favorite, took the runway. The show started off with a furry piece, yet elegant. The collection seemed to have four parts, in which helped the show to remain interesting. The first part of the collection highlighted colors in which many don’t enjoy much, such as a light, mud colored brown, a darker yellow, and a distant grey. The second collection focused more on vibrant spring/summer colors such as, red, yellow, and light baby blue. The third collection, brought out what seemed to be every color used in the last two parts, and put them together into one. The fabric choice seemed difficult to work with, for it had so many colors that it gave off the feeling of tie dye. Although, the way it was put together, it was almost though Fendi made tie dye trendy. The fourth and last part, were pieces made with beautiful gems. Fashion Week ended in the fashion capital of the world, Paris. In which there were beautiful pieces brought out by Chloé, whom did a great job at making basic colors such as, white and salmon pink look elegant, yet wearable. In an interview with Briana Hunt, an incredible Fashion Crazed Fashionista, showed her passion towards Fashion Week by stating “I love seeing brands evolve each and every year through fashion week, and it amazes me how the designers come up with completely different ideas for every single collection they put out.” When asked what designer put out the best collection for the Spring/Summer 2013 Ms. Hunt confidently shouted “Fendi”. Then later explained “With its strong silhouettes, beautiful use of leather, and amazing choice of fabric, it’s hard not to make it a favorite.”
