Oh Mother!

First, I would like to tell you all how much I love my mother!
Though Sunday was Mother's Day, I was not able to spend it with my lovely mother because of work. However, when I arrived home, I found these gorgeous shoes lying on my bed.
My mother is so giving and amazing, that even on her day she went out of her way to make me smile.
They are officially my new obsession, I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

All you need is love? More like a nice coat!

Ugh, so it is finally Spring and new styles are coming in every single day. One that I see more than anything is the new coat trend. Even though the weather is 1000x better than how it was a couple of weeks ago, we still need a nice coat to feel "comfortable."

A couple of weeks ago, my best friend, Briana Hunt said; "It doesn't matter what you wear under a really nice coat. You can be wearing something so simple and still look chic." Boy is she right.

She is the inspiration behind this look, and as you can see for your self, a nice coat is a MUST.

See Ya Later Winter

Wohoo! Winter, you don't even go here! -- Thanks Mean Girls. Anyways, I am so excited to finally put away my puffy winter coat and say hello to sweaters and light rain jackets.
Another thing I am super excited about, is not wearing all black. As much as I love the color, I do need a break from it.
A great way to do it is by pairing it with a POP color such as red. Which as you can see, is what I did here. The red lipstick gave my lips life, as well as helped my look pop.
So, lets take it back to the 90s, where the grunge look was THE LOOK, and lets implement it in our style today. I mean, us millennial's are really good at bringing back things from the past, especially styles, so we can easily say the plaid around the waist look is certainly coming back.

A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

So far this winter I have noticed the important role white and black have been playing in almost every window display. I am the type of person that goes directly to all black when in doubt, however, this winter I have drifted away from the all black and have jumped on the "all white" bandwagon.
I highly enjoyed this look because its an all season look that is very easy to put together. Hopefully you all end up thinking the same!

Summer Night Out

Thank goodness summer is here. With that being said, it's time to pull out your best outfit and strut it up and down the streets of Center City!
This outfit is a perfect choice for a day to night out on the town with the girls whether you're going shopping or hitting up every restaurant for Happy Hour!

Let's Go Ladies; It's Work Out Time!

Summer time is the best time of the year because we all get to take some time off from school, work, just life in general. However, staying at home not doing anything productive can get pretty boring. That's where working out comes into play!
At first, it was my least favorite thing to do and just the thought of working out made me tired.
After making it an every day thing, and seeing the changes in my mind and body, working out has become something I love doing!
Taking at least 30 minutes of your day to exercise will make a difference. However, I highly recommend giving it at least 1 to 2 hours.
On this post I will share a move that I love adding to my work out, whether I am at the gym or at home.

For first timers, use 3 pound weights. Do this move 30 times a set.
Start with two sets a work out, then once comfortable add a set.
This work out move will help strengthen your legs as well as your butt.
Having the weights will help tone your arm muscles as well as your back.

Bye Bye Old T's

There are certain days where being comfortable is the main goal.
With that being said, comfortable can most certainly be chic!
There is nothing that screams comfort like a nice pair of leggings.
Throwing a jean button up shirt with it makes it look a whole lot better than putting on that old T-shirt that should of gone to goodwill a long time ago.
This look has been one of my personal favorites, because not only is it perfect for the June weather, you can also throw a black leather jacket right over it and you got a fall/winter look as well.
Every woman deserves the right to feel comfortable and look great every single day.
Look of the Day:
Jean Button Up: J-Crew
Leggings: J-Crew
Sneakers: Vans
Purse: Forever 21
Hat: Forever 21

& no need to take forever on that make up. Stick to the natural look.
Embrace your natural beauty by just applying the essential foundation and light colored lipstick/lipgloss.
I guarantee you will look absolutely gorgeous with little to no effort.
